HACKENSACK DENTIST RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS FELLOWSHIP FROM ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY
Hackensack, NJ (6/28/2026) - The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Alissa M. Roman, DDS, FAGD, of Hackensack, NJ, recently received the prestigious Fellowship Award. The celebration recognizes the commitment of AGD members to excellence in dental education. During the event at the AGD’s scientific session on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Las Vegas, NV, Dr. Roman accepted this award along with 269 general dentists receiving this award.
The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who strive to provide the highest quality of dental care by staying current in their profession. To receive this award, Dr. Roman completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Roman has joined an elite group of more than 20,000 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award represents excellence in the dental profession and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
